A server of your own, not a game panel. You get root and install the game; we run the machine, the network and the filter under it.

  • Root on a clean image

Pick the operating system at checkout, then install the game server, its mod loader and whatever else belongs beside it: a database, TeamSpeak, a Discord bot. Nothing is preinstalled that you did not choose.

  • A guide for each common game

The help center walks through FiveM, Minecraft, Rust, the Source games, ARK, SA-MP and open.mp, and TeamSpeak on Linux, from a fresh server to a running game. The guides

  • No game control panel

You do not pick a game from a list here, and nobody installs or updates it for you. If that is what you want, a managed game host suits you better. If you want the whole server, this is it.

  • Games are one job among many

The same plans run websites, databases and VPNs. A game server is one use for the machine, and it can share it with the rest. Use cases

You run

  • Mods, plugins and scriptsWhatever the game loads, such as Oxide/uMod, SourceMod, ESX/QBCore/vMenu, BepInEx
  • The game serverInstalled from the guides, with SteamCMD, FXServer or Paper, and kept updated by you
  • Saves, databases and copies of themCopies kept somewhere else, on a schedule you set
  • The operating system, with root47 images to choose from: Linux, BSD and Windows Server

Clouduxe runs

  • The panelPower, console, reinstall, the Firewall and Attacks tabs, alerts
  • Prism at the network driverXDP/eBPF filtering on every host, on every plan
  • The serverKVM on the AMD EPYC 4584PX, DDR5, NVMe, a 1 Gbit/s port

Upstream

  • 17 Tbps of mitigation capacityIn front of the network, the same on every plan, not operated by Clouduxe

Protected by what Prism can read. 6 games get a protocol check, 3 a one-click preset, and 16 the always-on filter with port rules you write.

  • Why a rate limit is not enough

A game server has to answer strangers on a published port, so a flood can arrive on the same port, in the same protocol and at the same packet size as your players. A rate limit counts packets; a validator reads them, and drops traffic that does not speak the game's protocol before the server process sees it.

  • Floods bigger than the port

Absorbed by 17 Tbps of upstream mitigation capacity in front of the network, the same on every plan. What is left meets Prism at the driver of the host's 25 Gbit/s network card, which drops a flood before it can fill your 1 Gbit/s port.

  • Beyond the calculator

SA-MP and open.mp have a port preset too, and TeamSpeak and Ragnarok Online servers (rAthena) have protocol validators of their own.

Plans come from the calculator's own sizing code, at the player count it opens on for each game: change the count or the mods on the game's requirements page and the plan follows. Lighter loads get a VPS, heavier ones a VDS with dedicated cores. FiveM and RedM are sized with Clouduxe's own table for cfx.re servers: cfx.re publishes no hardware figures.

Prices are monthly, exclude GST and are the same in every region. RedM runs on the same FXServer as FiveM, but neither the FiveM validator nor its preset is documented for RedM, so it is listed under the generic filter.

Some games have a page of their own. Plans by player count, protection and setup for one game, in one place.

  • FiveM server hosting

Plans by player count from Clouduxe's own table, MicroCore to UltraCore, with FiveM protocol validation and the Asset CDN included.

  • Minecraft server hosting

Java and Bedrock, with plans by player count and Minecraft protocol validation for both editions.

    20 Java players Growth, ₹3,560$37.49/mo

  • What a FiveM server costs

The monthly cost of a FiveM server at each player count, from the same table, and what else costs money besides the server.

  • Windows VPS

The game guides here are written for Linux. If your server software needs Windows, or you would rather manage it over Remote Desktop, Windows Server is an image choice, and RDP has a protocol validator.

Distances are great-circle kilometres from the city centre to the region. The floor is that distance there and back at 200,000 km/s, the speed of light in optical fibre: the least a round trip can take, not a measured or promised ping. Real routes are longer. How distance turns into latency

From an empty server to the first join. Four steps for any game, then the help-center guide for yours.

  1. 1

    Order near your players

Pick the plan from the table and the region nearest most of your players, with Debian or Ubuntu: the install guides are written for them. You get root on a clean image.

  2. 2

    Open the game's ports

Apply the game's preset on the Firewall tab, or add a rule for each port the game uses. Keep admin ports such as RCON closed to everyone but you.

  3. 3

    Install from the guide

The guide for your game covers the server files, a user of its own to run them as and the settings that matter; most also set the server to start on boot.

  4. 4

    If players cannot connect

Start with Address lookup on the Attacks tab: if the filter dropped a player, it names the check that did. The checklist then takes each cause in turn: rate limits, missing rules, validation and the engines.

Questions about game server hosting

Is this a managed game server panel?

No. You get a VPS or VDS with root access and install the game server yourself, following the help center's guides. The Clouduxe panel runs the server around it: power, console, reinstall, the Firewall and Attacks tabs and alerts. The game, its mods and its updates are yours to run.

Which game servers can I run?

Any server software that runs on Linux or Windows Server, because the machine is yours. The calculator sizes 25 games from their own documentation, and the help center has install guides for FiveM, Minecraft, Rust, the Source games (CS2, TF2 and Garry's Mod), ARK, SA-MP and open.mp, and TeamSpeak.

Is DDoS protection included for every game?

Yes, on every plan, with nothing to add at checkout. Floods too big for the link are absorbed by 17 Tbps of upstream mitigation capacity, and Clouduxe Prism filters what arrives at the network driver. Counter-Strike 2, FiveM, Garry's Mod, Minecraft Bedrock, Minecraft Java and Team Fortress 2 also get protocol validation; ARK: Survival Ascended, ARK: Survival Evolved and Rust get a one-click port preset without a validator; the other 16 games in the calculator get the always-on filter and the port rules you write.

Which region should I pick for players in India?

Mumbai. It is the nearest of the three regions to every Indian city on this page. Kolkata, the farthest of them, is 1,655 km from Mumbai, a round-trip floor of 16.5 ms, against 2,890 km to Singapore. The floor is the least a round trip can take over that distance, not a ping to expect. If your community is spread across Southeast Asia as well, Singapore keeps those players closer.

How much does a game server cost?

It depends on the game and the player count. At the player counts in the table above, the plans the calculator picks run from VPS Mini at ₹1,780 or $18.99 a month to VDS TitanCore at ₹29,820 or $313.99, for DayZ at 60 players. Prices are monthly, exclude GST and are the same in every region. For FiveM, the FiveM server cost page works it through by player count.

Can I run more than one game server on one plan?

Yes. Each server is its own process with its own ports and its own firewall rules, so size the plan for all of them together by adding up what the calculator gives for each. A second Source server listens on the next port up and needs rules of its own, and a TeamSpeak server is light enough to run beside a game.

Can I move to a bigger plan later?

Yes, from the panel: it offers the plans of the same type (VPS or VDS) in the same region that are bigger on every resource. Cores and traffic change straight away; memory and disk take effect at the next full power cycle from the panel. Nothing is reinstalled, so the game, its saves and its database stay as they are. Moving from a VPS to a VDS is not offered as an online upgrade, and a smaller plan goes through a ticket, because a disk cannot shrink under your data.

Can I run a game server on Windows?

Yes. Windows Server 2022 and 2019 can be picked at checkout, and 2025 by reinstalling from the panel. Choosing Windows adds nothing to the plan price at checkout; for licensing questions, email sales at contact@clouduxe.com. The help center's game guides are written for Linux, and Remote Desktop has a protocol validator of its own.

Pick the game, then the server.

Every plan: root access, the AMD EPYC 4584PX at up to 5.7 GHz, a 1 Gbit/s port and DDoS protection behind 17 Tbps of upstream mitigation capacity, in Mumbai, Singapore and Limburg. Support runs 24/7/365.
