VDS FusionCore

₹9,940$104.49/mo

  • 4 dedicated cores instead of 6 shared vCPU: the game's main thread gets cores no other customer uses.
  • 4 GB more memory, 80 GB more NVMe.
  • Headroom for busy evenings, more players, and the mods and updates you add later.

Published requirements

How the model is built

Memory
4 GB plus 1250 MB per player. Calibrated between the official minimum (8GB, default 4-player cap) and the official recommendation (16GB for more than 4 players or larger saves). The developer stresses that factory/save complexity, not just player count, drives RAM; this model is an approximation for that reason.
CPU
4 cores, one more for every 8 players. Official wiki: server heavily favors single-core performance, recommending a single-thread benchmark rating of 2000+ over extra cores. Base of 4 cores matches the minimum CPU spec (i5-3570/Ryzen 5 3600 class); cores scale slowly with players since clock speed is the real lever.
Disk
13 GB for the server plus 40 GB for saves and backups, on SSD or NVMe. Install size is 12.4GB on Windows / about 8GB on Linux per the official wiki. Growth covers save files, autosaves and backups; one hosting guide recommends 50GB+ total free space for smooth long-term operation. SSD is strongly recommended because autosaves can stall a busy world on slow disks.
Bandwidth
200 kbit/s of upload per player. No official or wiki figure exists for per-player bandwidth. Estimated from genre-comparable co-op building/survival games and a community rule of thumb of about 20 Mbps upload for smooth small-group play; factory/belt sync is lower-frequency than shooter tick traffic, so this is a conservative derived estimate, not a sourced anchor.
Mods (SML/ficsit.app)
Memory times 1.2 for some and 1.6 for heavy; a heavy load also adds a core.

The default multiplayer cap is 4 players; MaxPlayers can be raised (the engine allows up to 127) but the developer does not guarantee performance past 4, and requirements scale with factory complexity more than headcount. Bandwidth per player is an unsourced estimate, no official figure exists.

What drives the load

  • CPU single-thread performance matters far more than core count. Look for a single-thread benchmark rating of 2000 or higher.
  • Factory size and complexity (buildings, belts, active machines) drive RAM usage more than player count alone.
  • Use an SSD. Autosaves on a busy, developed world can stall on slow disks.
  • The game defaults to a 4-player cap; raising it is supported but the developer does not guarantee performance beyond that, so budget extra RAM per additional player.

Satisfactory server questions

How much RAM does a Satisfactory server need?

About 9 GB for 4 players and 43.5 GB for 32, before mods (sml/ficsit.app). Calibrated between the official minimum (8GB, default 4-player cap) and the official recommendation (16GB for more than 4 players or larger saves). The developer stresses that factory/save complexity, not just player count, drives RAM; this model is an approximation for that reason.

How many CPU cores does a Satisfactory server need?

4 for 4 players, 7 for 32. The server is single-thread heavy, so the clock speed of one core matters more than how many cores it has.

How much bandwidth does a Satisfactory server use?

About 200 kbit/s of upload per connected player, so under 1 Mbit/s with 4 players online and about 91 GB a month if 35% of that cap is online on average.

Which Clouduxe plan should I pick for Satisfactory?

For 4 players, VPS Pro fits the load and VDS FusionCore leaves room to grow. Every plan includes DDoS protection: 17 Tbps of upstream mitigation plus Clouduxe Prism on the server.
