Servers

What is the difference between a VPS and a VDS?

A VPS gives you virtual CPUs scheduled across the processor's shared cores, which is the most economical way to run most workloads. A VDS allocates whole cores to you: the cores are allocated to your server and are not scheduled for anyone else. Both run on the same AMD EPYC 4584PX machines with DDR5 memory and NVMe storage.

Which processor do the servers use?

The AMD EPYC 4584PX: 16 cores, 32 threads, 4.2 GHz base and up to 5.7 GHz boost, with 128 MB of L3 cache. Every VPS, VDS and bare metal server runs on it.

What sizes are there?

8 VPS plans from 1 to 12 vCPU, and 6 VDS plans from 2 to 16 dedicated cores. Bare metal is configured and quoted per build.

How fast is the network port, and how much traffic is included?

Every plan has a 1 Gbit/s port. Monthly traffic is set per plan, from 1 TB on the smallest to 30 TB on the largest.

Which operating systems can I install?

47 images: Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, CentOS, Fedora, Alpine Linux, FreeBSD, Windows, plus openSUSE, CloudLinux, Oracle Linux and Arch Linux. You can reinstall from the panel at any time.

Do I get full root access?

Yes. Full root / Administrator on every VPS and VDS, which run on KVM.

Can I move to a larger plan later?

Yes, to a plan that is larger on every resource, in the same region and product type. CPU and traffic changes apply straight away; memory and disk take effect at the next restart of the server.

Can I move a server to another region?

No. Each region is a separate product, and a server stays in the region it was ordered in. To run in another region, order a server there.

How do I get a bare metal price?

Email contact@clouduxe.com with the region, the memory and storage you need and what will run on it. Bare metal has no fixed price list; each build is quoted.

Protection

Is DDoS protection included with every server?

Yes. Every VPS, VDS and bare metal server in Mumbai, Singapore and Limburg sits behind the same upstream network and runs Clouduxe Prism on the host. There is nothing extra to buy.

How large an attack can you absorb?

The upstream network carries up to 17 Tbps of mitigation capacity. That figure is the same on every plan, because it is the same network in front of every server, and it is not metered or divided per customer.

Does DDoS protection add latency?

There is no scrubbing hop. Prism runs on the machine serving your traffic, so nothing is re-encapsulated or relayed through another city. Traffic that passes reaches your service the same way it would with no protection at all.

Can I see the attacks against my server?

Yes. The Attacks tab groups what was dropped into incidents, with their sources, the ports they targeted and what the attack was made of. Attack alerts can also go to a Discord channel of your own.

Does another customer being attacked affect my server?

No. Every server has its own filtering state and its own rules, so another customer's attack does not tighten anything on yours, and a rule you set never leaks outwards.

Will the filter block my real users?

Prism separates real users from attackers by protocol and behaviour, not by volume alone. If a real user is ever dropped, Address lookup on the Attacks tab names the exact check that dropped them, and that rule can be tuned.

Do I have to configure anything?

Upstream filtering needs nothing from you. On the host you choose which ports are open and how fast traffic may arrive on each, usually by applying the preset for your service, such as a web server or TeamSpeak, and then fitting the limits to your own busy-hour traffic.

Which services does the filter understand?

Protocol validators check that traffic really is TeamSpeak, RDP, DNS and VPN when it arrives on those ports, and 4 more families cover game protocols. Web servers get a one-click preset for TCP 80 and TCP 443. Any other service gets port rules, rate limits and the full layer 3 and layer 4 filter.

Where does the filter run?

Clouduxe Prism runs as XDP/eBPF at the network driver of the server itself. It checks the address, then the transport, then the protocol, and stops at the first check that decides. Floods big enough to fill the link are absorbed upstream before they arrive.

Billing

Which currency am I billed in?

Prices are the same in every region and this site shows them in rupees or US dollars, picked from your browser; switch it at the top of any page. Invoices are in your account currency, which you can change on the Account page in the panel.

Do prices include tax?

Listed prices exclude GST. Tax is worked out from the billing address on your account and shown as its own line on the invoice.

How can I pay?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UPI, Google Pay, Apple Pay and PayPal.

Is billing monthly?

Yes. Every plan is billed monthly; no other billing cycle is published.

What is your uptime guarantee?

99.99% monthly availability for VPS and VDS, set out in the Service Level Agreement, which also explains the service credits you can claim if we miss it. DDoS protection is enabled on every server, but it has no availability commitment of its own, and downtime caused by an attack is excluded.

Where are my invoices?

In the billing section of the panel, where you can also pay them and see wallet credit.

Is DDoS protection a separate charge?

No. The 17 Tbps upstream and Clouduxe Prism are part of every plan in Mumbai, Singapore and Limburg.

Account and support

How do I reach support?

Support runs 24/7/365. Open a ticket in the panel, attached to the server it is about, or reach us on Discord or at contact@clouduxe.com. The help center has step-by-step guides.

How do I create an account?

Sign up in the panel at dash.clouduxe.com. Everything you buy, run and pay for is managed there.

How do I report abuse from a Clouduxe address?

Use the report abuse page on this site, linked in the footer, and include the address, the time with a time zone, and the evidence you have.

Do you have a partner program?

Yes. Three tiers pay 7% (Nexus), 12% (Quantum) and 20% (Zenith) on the customers you refer, by wallet credit and bank transfer from ₹2,500 / $28.

Who is Clouduxe?

Clouduxe is FLICKERLINK TECHNOLOGIES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED, founded in 2024 and based in Jammu, India.

Game servers

Which games does the filter understand?

Protocol validators ship for FiveM, Minecraft, Source, rAthena, TeamSpeak, RDP, DNS and VPN. Rust, SA-MP / open.mp and ARK: Survival have one-click port presets with rate limits, and get the full layer 3 and layer 4 filter, but their protocol is not validated.

Which ports does a FiveM server need open?

Two rules, both on 30120: UDP for game traffic, and TCP for the server list endpoints and resource downloads. Keep txAdmin on 40120 and your database on 3306 off the public internet.

Is Bedrock protected as well as Java?

Yes. Java on TCP 25565 and Bedrock over RakNet on UDP 19132 both have protocol validators and one-click presets.

Which Source games are covered?

CS2, the legacy CS:GO server, Team Fortress 2 and Garry's Mod all share the Source validator and the shared query protocol.

Which region should a game server use?

The one closest to the people who connect: Mumbai for India, Singapore for Southeast Asia, Limburg for Europe. Protection is identical in all three.
