What happens next #
We check each report against our Acceptable Use Policy. Where it holds up, we pass it to the customer responsible and ask them to fix it, or act ourselves straight away when the activity is an attack, phishing, malware or child sexual abuse material. We do not tell the customer who reported them, except that a rights holder's copyright or trademark notice is forwarded as sent, and where the law requires it.
For copyright and trademark complaints, include the details listed insection 5 of the Acceptable Use Policy. Complaints about content hosted on our services are handled by our Grievance Officer, Vinayak Gandhi, who acknowledges them within 24 hours and resolves them within 7 days, sooner where the law sets a shorter deadline.
