The whole machine, and nobody else on it.

Our standard build is one AMD EPYC 4584PX, its memory and its disks, with no hypervisor of ours in between. Need different hardware? Tell us what you need: we can source other builds, depending on availability, and quote them.

What is on the board. The standard build: one socket, two memory channels, NVMe drives, and a network card whose driver runs our filter.

The key

  1. A
AM5 socket, one processor. The AMD EPYC 4584PX with 16 cores and 32 threads, 128 MB of L3.
  2. B
DDR5, 2 channels. Up to 5200 MT/s. The amount is yours to choose.
  3. C
NVMe drives on PCIe. The processor provides PCIe 5.0 x28. Size and count are set in the quote.
  4. D
The 25 Gbit/s network card and its driver. Prism's XDP/eBPF program runs here and drops attack packets before your operating system's network stack sees them.
  5. E
The upstream edge. 17 Tbps of upstream mitigation capacity absorbs the largest floods before they reach the machine.
Schematic of a single-socket server board. Traffic arrives from the upstream edge, which has 17 Tbps of mitigation capacity, into the 25 Gbit/s network card. Prism's XDP program in the network card's driver drops attack packets there, and only the remaining packets continue over PCIe to the AMD EPYC 4584PX in its AM5 socket. Two DDR5 memory channels connect to the socket, and NVMe drives connect over PCIe.Single-socket board, schematicPCIePCIeEPYC4584PX16C / 32TAM5 socket, one processorDDR5, 2 channelsCh 1Ch 2NVMeNVMeNIC, 25 Gbit/sXDP at the driverUpstream edgeto the network cardABCDE

Every core is yours. All 16 cores on both compute dies, all 32 threads, and the full clock range from 4.2 GHz base to 5.7 GHz boost.

Bare metal: the processor, the socket and the board

Nothing else is scheduled on this processor. On bare metal you get the processor, and the socket, and the board it sits on.

VDS: whole cores out of these 16

On a VDS, you get whole cores out of these 16, from 2 to 16, at published prices.

What bare metal gives you that a VDS does not. The same processor on both in the standard build. The difference is what sits between you and it.

What stays exactly the same. Bare metal is not a different network. It is the same one, with a bigger share of the hardware.

Prism at the network driver

The same XDP/eBPF filter checks every packet at the network card's driver, with protocol validators for TeamSpeak, RDP, DNS, VPN, game protocols and more.

How a quote works. Four steps, by email. There is no published price because the price follows the build.

  1. Step 1: You tell us what you need

Email contact@clouduxe.com with the region, memory, storage and operating system you want. The button below fills in the questions for you.

  2. Step 2: We reply with a configuration and a price

A specific build for your answers, and what it costs. If something you asked for does not fit the platform, the reply says so.

  3. Step 3: You pay

If the configuration and price work for you, you accept the quote and pay for it.

  4. Step 4: We hand over access

We give you access to the machine, and it is yours from there.

  5. What the email asks

The 6 things we need to know to propose a configuration and a price. The button fills them in as blanks.

    Region
Mumbai, Singapore or LimburgWhere the machine sits. Mumbai, Singapore, Limburg: the same hardware and filter in each.
    Memory
how much you needDDR5 on 2 channels. Tell us the amount and we configure the modules.
    Storage
size and number of drivesNVMe. Say how much space you need and how you want it split across drives.
    Operating system
or "I will install my own"The system you want installed, or none if you are bringing your own kernel or hypervisor.
    Expected traffic
visitors, requests or bandwidthSo we can tell you honestly what connection your traffic needs.
    Workload
what the machine will runSo the configuration we propose fits what the machine will actually run, and the traffic the filter will see.

Questions about bare metal

Why is there no price on this page?

Because the price depends on the build: how much memory, how many drives, which region. We quote each machine rather than publish a price that would be wrong for most of them.

Which processor is it?

Our standard build is the AMD EPYC 4584PX: 16 cores, 32 threads, 4.2 GHz base and up to 5.7 GHz boost, 128 MB of L3 cache, on the AM5 platform with DDR5 memory on 2 channels. The same processor as every VPS and VDS we sell.

Can I get different hardware?

Yes, depending on availability. If you need a different processor, more memory, more or bigger drives or another configuration, email contact@clouduxe.com with what you need and we will tell you what we can source, and quote it.

Is DDoS protection included?

Yes. The machine sits behind the same 17 Tbps of upstream mitigation capacity as every other server, and traffic is filtered by Clouduxe Prism at the network driver. There is nothing to add to the quote.

Can I run my own hypervisor?

Yes. With nothing underneath your operating system, you can install a hypervisor and run your own virtual machines on the processor's cores.

Which regions can I choose?

Mumbai, Singapore and Limburg. Tell us which one in your email.

How fast is the network?

The machine has a 25 Gbit/s network card. Tell us the traffic you expect in your email and we will tell you what connection it needs.

How long does it take to get the machine?

We do not publish a turnaround, because it depends on the build and the region. Ask in your email and the reply will answer for your configuration.

Do I need the whole machine?

Often not. A VDS allocates 2 to 16 whole cores to you on the same processor, at published prices you can order today. Bare metal is for when you need the hardware itself: your own hypervisor, your own kernel on the metal, or memory and disks beyond a plan.

Tell us the build. We will tell you the price.

The whole AMD EPYC 4584PX, in Mumbai, Singapore and Limburg, behind the same filter as every server we run.
